My Pledges to Filton & Bradley Stoke Constituency

For the past few months, I have been out and about listening to workers, staff in public services (schools, the NHS, MoD), to people on the doorstep, and a wide range of community groups on the issues that matter to them. In addition to the Labour manifesto, these conversations have helped to inform some of my pledges to you:
A Full-time MP
I pledge to be an accessible and approachable MP who listens and fights for issues you care about
Support for our schools and colleges
I will be a strong voice on education in Parliament. Labour will reverse years of damaging Tory cuts, and re-invest in our schools
For our local health services
Our NHS is under pressure, and we have already seen closures to our GP practices like Northville, and Frenchay hospital. Labour will re-invest in our NHS, re-introduce nursing bursaries and support health care staff
A Green New Deal
I have campaigned on climate change for over 15 years. Labour will tackle climate change with bold new policies, and I will championed green issues locally
