Dear Labour voter,
Thank you for your support as your Parliamentary Candidate for Filton and Bradley
Stoke. 20,647 voted for change within our area, and I am sorry in this instance we
didn't win and I don't get the opportunity to represent you in Parliament.
Over the last two years, I’ve been out and about with our Labour team listening to local people and hearing about your hopes and concerns for the future. One thing is shared – many of you are deeply worried about the crisis facing our country - whether it is cuts to essential services, the climate crisis or Brexit. In our constituency, we deserve an MP who lives in the region and is actively fighting in parliament for our interests and not their own.
I also want to give a special thanks to all of the campaigners and volunteers that came out to Filton and Bradley Stoke that you may have met when they knocked on your doors and delivered leaflets, and to my wonderful campaign team. I also want to thank USDAW, CWU, UNITE and UNISON who I worked closely with on local campaigns. I pledge to continue to raise these issues in my capacity as a local campaigner and councillor and to hold our Conservative government to account.
It was a pleasure to meet you and work with you all during this campaign and hope to speak to you again in a future one!
Mhairi Threlfall, your Labour Party Candidate
